How a round works

  1. Choose Easy Notes for C4, E4, and G4, or Full Path for all seven natural notes from C4 through B4.
  2. Select Start ear run. Your browser synthesizes the first tone after that click.
  3. Replay the tone as often as needed, then choose the note name you heard.
  4. The answer is revealed immediately and the next tone follows automatically.
  5. After ten tones, review your score and best result, then choose another run or difficulty.

Controls

Use the Start, Replay tone, difficulty, and note-name buttons by mouse, touch, or keyboard. Audio is required for the quiz, but microphone access is never requested.

Scoring

Each correct first answer is worth one point, for a maximum score of 10. The best numeric score is saved only in this browser.
